L&J engineering adds MCG 1600SFI Smart Flash Infrared Radar Gauge Conar Antenna

Hillside, IL — September 12th, 2013 — Today L&J Engineering, an industry leader in the level gauging market, has added an all new Conar* antenna design to the MCG 1600SFI Smart Flash Infrared Radar Gauge. The Conar antenna is designed for use in stilling well and gauge/sampling hatch applications.

The conar antenna incorporates advanced waveguide technology which allows for a smaller, compact, and lightweight design. The conar antenna features a Teflon radome that prevents buildup from forming on the inside of the antenna. This will allow for easy cleanup and maintenance on the radar gauge.

Designed to work in a variety of industries, the MCG 1600SFI has an accuracy of ± 0.5mm and uses FMCW technology operating with a frequency range of 10GHz. The MCG 1600SFI Radar Gauge can be customized to specific applications. All information is displayed on the radar’s 32-character backlit LCD display and is programmed via the MCG 2150 Remote Calibrator.
