Standard Configuration
Provides L&J Tankway field interface to a host computer via RS232 Interface (standard). Other options are available. The 3281 simplifies connections to the user’s network that provides communication to the entire L&J family of Smart Media Products which include the MCG 2000SFI or SS(I) transmitter, the MCG 1600SFI Smart Flash Infrared Radar Gauge, and the MCG1500SFI Smart Flash Infrared Servo Gauge. The MCG3281 is typically used to connect a computer running MCG WinFlash software to a network connected to L&J smart media field equipment. Once connected, all of the enhanced functions enabled with the L&J smart media technology can be fully utilized. These functions include remote parameter configuration, software upgrades, extensive field diagnostics and internal transmitter specific diagnostics.
